Online Services

What Is Online Therapy ?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR Therapy and Counselling sessions can be is conducted remotely via video, using platforms such as  Zoom, Skype or Facetime with your allocated  therapist.

Online therapy works the same as face-to-face therapy, but from the comfort of your home rather than a clinic location. It provides the same level of support and confidentiality and some clients feel that it allows more flexibility around their schedule at work or prefer to engage with therapy from the comfort of their home.

With the onset of Covid many of our therapists started to work more intensively online. Clinical studies  have shown that sessions were equally effective and as a result  online therapy  is now a integral part of  most clinicians work.

Working from across the country our experienced therapists now treat clients from across the UK.

How does online therapy entail?

Prior to your appointment  we will send you some information to read about attending online sessions. Your therapist  will arrange an appointment time and the video method that you prefer to use. During your initial assessment you will check everything is working correctly and then start to talk about your difficulties and what brings you to therapy sessions.

If this feels a good way to work then your therapists and you will then book in your first therapy session. Please log in to the network a few minutes before your therapy session in order that the session starts on time.  During sessions please ensure that you are comfortable and that you are in a space where your wont be disturbed.
