‘It’s important that my clients feel safe, and that they can be authentic about the thoughts that might trouble them or the difficulties that they’re facing. We all have a story, and I aim to be as safe a space as possible to hear yours’.
I am an accredited CBT therapist with extensive experience working with children, young people, adults with neurodiversity and learning difficulties. Before training as a CBT therapist, I worked as a music therapist and over the last 15 years have worked in a variety of schools, community settings and within the NHS. I routinely work with children that are struggling with symptoms of panic, low mood, emetophobia, trauma , OCD, and often help them to understand and manage their emotions and help them to increase their confidence and self esteem.
I also enjoy working with adult clients, treating a wide range of common mental health conditions and have considerable experience in working with clients with neurodiversity and learning disabilities.
